Los Angeles County is once again requiring travelers to mask up when aboard public transit or in indoor transportation hubs such as airports.洛杉磯郡在公共交通和機(jī)場等室內(nèi)交通樞紐內(nèi)重啟“口罩令”。

LA County public health officials issued a new COVID-19 health order effective Friday that will make masks mandatory on all public transit, including buses, trains, taxis and ride-share services.4月22日，洛杉磯郡公共衛(wèi)生局頒布防疫新規(guī)，要求民眾乘坐公共汽車、火車、出租車、網(wǎng)約車等所有公共交通工具時必須佩戴口罩。

Health officials cited the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's claim that mask-wearing on public transit is essential to stopping the spread of COVID-19.洛杉磯郡公共衛(wèi)生局官員援引美疾控中心聲明稱，在乘坐公共交通工具時佩戴口罩對阻止新冠病毒傳播是必要的。

The return of the transportation mask mandate comes after the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced Tuesday that masks were strongly recommended on bus and rail lines, but not required.此前，洛杉磯郡大都會交通管理局4月18日稱，強(qiáng)烈建議民眾在公交和軌道交通內(nèi)佩戴口罩，但不強(qiáng)制。

The California Department of Health also issued updated guidance that strongly urges residents across the state to wear masks on public transit, but does away with requirements.加利福尼亞州衛(wèi)生部也頒布了最新指導(dǎo)意見，強(qiáng)烈呼吁該州民眾在公共交通上佩戴口罩，但并未強(qiáng)制要求。

The developments come days after a federal judge in Florida struck down the Biden administration's mask mandate on planes and other forms of public transportation. The US Department of Justice is working to appeal the judge's order following a request from the CDC. 幾天前，佛羅里達(dá)州一名聯(lián)邦法官廢除了拜登政府的飛機(jī)及公共交通“口罩令”。美疾控中心已要求美國司法部提出上訴。

The CDC also said that it continues to recommend that people wear masks in "all indoor public transportation settings."美疾控中心仍然建議民眾在“所有室內(nèi)公共交通環(huán)境”中佩戴口罩。
